What is Social Innovation?

Social Innovation is defined as an action that is social both in terms of its purpose and in terms of its means of implementation, and more specifically an action related to the development and implementation of new ideas concerning products, services, practices and models/models that at the same time they address social needs and create new social relationships or partnerships between the public, civil society, the private sector and citizens, thereby benefiting society and enhancing its capacity to act.
